BOOK AUCTION TO RAISE MONEY FOR EY FOODBANK 2024

It`s back! We’re holding an auction of books and things relating to writing from local authors, who are fundraising for the East Yorkshire Foodbank. We raised £500 last year, let’s hope we can beat that amount this year!

The Promises range from signed books, to one-to-one chats with authors, to the chance to have your name appear in a novel, to having an experienced author/creative writing tutor review three chapters of your writing. Any of these would make an excellent and usual Christmas present.

How it works:
The auction will run from 6am on 7th of October to 11pm on 18th of October. Bid on the Promises [Lots] that you want to win. Do the bidding on this website.

When the auction finishes, whoever pledged the highest bid will win that Lot. If you win, we will email you once the auction is finished to let you know the Lot number and the winning bid amount.

To pay for the winning Lots, please go to East Yorkshire Foodbank`s Book Auction 2024 Just Giving page and pay the right amount - or more, if you want to make an extra donation. www.justgiving.com/page/eyfbbookauction2024

Please include the Lot number in the comments that go with the payment, so that we can keep track.

Once the Lot has been paid for, we will put you in touch with the person who promised it so that you can arrange delivery.
PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDER if you win [Last year, we had an unusual number of emails go to spam folders, which caused lots of delays].

If something goes wrong, and you don`t receive the item that you`ve won, let the Foodbank know and they will refund the donation.

If you don`t win, you can still make a donation via the Just Giving site.
