Thank you to everyone who has donated a promise and bid on items in our auction. It has been more successful than we could ever have imagined and we have raised a whopping £8772! Tomorrow I will begin the mammoth task of getting everything distributed, so if you`re a winning bidder you will hear from me once your payment has been received. Sebastian is 6 years old. Three years ago, he was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma, a rare form of childhood cancer that`s really hard to treat. Over the past three years he`s received near constant treatment on the NHS and through UK-based clinical trials, but in June 2023 we were given the devastating news that his cancer was spreading.

The odds for survival after relapse are low, and we are almost out of NHS treatment options, but there are promising new treatments overseas that might be Sebastian`s best chance of a longer-term cure. If the best options for lifesaving treatment are outside of the UK it`s likely to cost around £200,000.

We don`t know for certain yet what the next steps will be, but Sebastian`s illness won`t wait while we raise money. Our friends and supporters in the local community and further afield have organised some amazing events in support of team Sebastian and we hope that there is something for everyone in this Auction of Promises. So why not bag yourself an early Christmas present or the chance to take part in a unique experience?
