Sharky & George runs parties and events for children and adults in and around London and all over the world. There is an office team of 22 and a party team of about 200 freelancers. They average 200 parties per month.
The placement will involve working in their Core team of party planners. This mainly involves organising birthday parties and events for children, and sometimes for adults too!
Assisting in creating, designing and putting together new party bags and party products.
Assisting in pitching and planning larger, more bespoke events from the initial stages all the way through to delivery. This is likely to involve meetings, site visits, theme research, outsourcing suppliers of catering, set design and in some cases specialist performers.
Assisting in creating and developing kids clubs at 5* international hotels with the Sharky & George brand.
Being a small company, there will be a certain amount of helping on any project that is most pressing at any one time, which could range from marketing to PR and web development.
Based at their HQ at Matrix Studios in Fulham. Expiry March 2026. Must be over 18 years old.
