AUCTION POSTPONED. NEW DATE WILL BE ANNOUNCED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE SO KEEP THINKING OF PROMISES TO ADD TO THE SITE. As you may be aware our community is faced with the very worrying prospect of an incinerator being built in Tockwith, just 500m from the nearest houses and 1000m from Tockwith school. We are extremely concerned about the health implications from the plant’s emissions, as well as the increased traffic along unsuitable country lanes transporting hazardous waste. We are currently employing a Planning Consultant to advise us on the best way forward and it is important to raise funds so that we can continue to do so. This auction is to raise money to help us fight the incinerator. Please support us by bidding now for one of the fantastic lots on offer. Promises are being added all the time so keep checking back for the latest amazing experiences and services available. This online auction will end at midday on Saturday February 27 2010. After midday telephone bids can be made by calling 07876 113372. Bidding will continue at the live auction at Tockwith Primary School from 7.30pm on Saturday 27 February 2010. To make sure you are not outbid at the live auction enter your highest bid online or better still come along to the auction itself.
